Witches Bowls

Using asemic writing conveys a sense of the ancient.  

The oxides and glazes combine to add to the sense of the bowls having just been dug up from the ground.

Black glaze on the inside contrasts with the rough heavily grogged black clay on the outer surface.

Circles

Using a simple circle as a motif repeated hundreds of time introduces vibrance and interest to this bowl.  The shapes are highlighted with oxides, finished with a simple clear glaze.  
Wheel Thrown Bowl
Deceptively pure in its simplicity, inspired by Japanese Ceramics this bowl it glazed only on the inside surface 
Poppy Bowl
Its a very happy moment when you open the kiln door and see that the glazes have done exactly what you hoped they would.
